William
I’ll curl up beside you and make anywhere feel like home.
William has been adopted. We have left this page up because it is the ending we work for.
What I'm like
William is a gentle, affectionate boy who loves being close to people and sharing quiet moments with them. He is happiest curled up beside someone while they work, watch television or relax at home. He would thrive in a calm indoor home with a kind family who will cherish his companionship.
My story
“Hi, I'm William.
I was rescued in Hsinchu. My right hind paw had been badly injured, and back then every step was painful. Then I met StrayKind. They took me in, gave me the treatment I needed, and gave me a name of my own.
I've healed well since. I'm missing that back paw now, but it doesn't slow me down. To be honest, I'd much rather be curled up beside you than dashing about anyway. I'm around seven years old, and I've grown into a gentle, easy-going gentleman who loves quiet company.
Now I'm hoping for a calm indoor home where I can enjoy a peaceful life with someone who'll cherish my company. All I really want is a warm home, a kind heart and someone to share life's everyday moments with.”
Health and care
William is missing his right hind paw, but he has adapted well and moves around comfortably. He is FIV positive and currently in stable health. FIV is mainly transmitted through deep bite wounds and is not spread through shared food bowls, water bowls, litter trays or ordinary everyday contact. William is gentle and currently lives peacefully alongside other cats, so he does not necessarily need to be the only cat in the home and may be able to live with compatible, easy-going cats. We will explain FIV to prospective adopters and assess each home individually; a calm indoor home would suit him best.
