What I'm like
Dana is a calm, affectionate girl who enjoys quiet companionship, sunny afternoons and curling up beside the sofa. She is naturally alert and may gently let her family know when she notices something unfamiliar. She could live happily with another dog or older children in a relaxed, welcoming home.
My story
“Hi, I'm Dana!
I was found in Xindian when I was in very poor condition. I was so weak that I was little more than skin and bone, and I could barely stand. Thankfully, I met people who refused to give up on me. With treatment, time to recover, and lots of love and care, I slowly regained my strength and found my joy in life again.
The first thing you'll probably notice about me is my long legs and graceful build. I'm rather hard to miss! But once you get to know me, you'll discover that I'm really just a gentle girl who enjoys quiet companionship. My favourite place is curled up beside the sofa, keeping my family company. On chilly days, I'd love to snuggle up beside you to keep warm, and when the sun is shining, you'll usually find me happily soaking up the warmth.
I don't need constant adventures to be happy. As long as I'm with the people I love, every day feels complete.
I’m ready for the next chapter of my life, and I hope that one day you’ll smile, look at me and say, ‘Come on, Dana. Let’s go home.’”
Health and care
Fit and healthy now, fully recovered from the weak, underweight state she arrived in.
