Grace
Three legs won’t stop me sharing life’s gentle moments with you.
What I'm like
Grace is a calm, gentle girl whose peaceful presence makes everyone around her feel at ease. She enjoys unhurried walks, warm sunshine and resting whenever she needs to. She would thrive in a quiet home and could happily share her life with a friendly dog.
My story
“Hi, I'm Grace!
I used to live in the mountains. One day, I became caught in a wire snare, and my left front leg was so badly injured that it couldn't be saved. Thankfully, I met people who refused to give up on me. With treatment, time to recover, and lots of love and care, I slowly regained my strength and learned to live happily on three legs.
These days, life is all about the simple things I love. Gentle walks, warm sunshine and feeling the breeze on my face are some of my favourite moments. Rather than dwelling on the past, I'd much rather look ahead to today and all the quiet, happy days still to come.
Whenever I see someone I know, I can't help but make my way over with a happy little hop. To me, life's greatest joy is simply being with the people I love, growing older together and enjoying all the little moments that make a house feel like home.
I hope that one day you’ll smile, look at me and say, ‘Come on, Grace. Let’s go home.’”
Health and care
Grace lives happily on three legs following an old snare injury. She walks steadily but may tire on longer outings, so a pet stroller can help. She also has a history of epilepsy, and seizures may occasionally be triggered by overexcitement, so a calm routine and careful monitoring are recommended.
