What I'm like
Gwen is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves cuddles and being close to the people she trusts. She is happiest enjoying peaceful moments, gentle attention and life at her own relaxed pace. She would suit a caring home that can accommodate her mobility needs and include her in everyday family life.
My story
“Hi, I'm Gwen!
I was rescued in Taitung when I was in very poor condition. At the time, I was weak and had no idea what the future might hold. Thankfully, I met a group of people who gave me a second chance. With lots of love, care and patience, I slowly regained my strength and learned to trust again.
These days, I enjoy taking life at my own gentle pace. Every day, I grow a little more confident and find happiness in the calm, comforting moments around me. Although I’m missing both front legs, I’ve learnt to move confidently in my own way and enjoy the world around me.
My favourite place is right by the people I love. A cuddle, a gentle fuss, or simply sitting quietly together is enough to make me happy.
I hope that one day, I'll be the little dog who gets to spend every day by your side.”
Health and care
Missing both front legs but moves confidently in her own way; she does best with short, frequent walks. A pet stroller (or, in time, prosthetics) could open up longer outings. No other special care.
